What You’ll Need

To get started to bid on an NFT you will need either a credit/debit card or Ether. If you are using a MetaMask wallet, please make sure you have it funded with Ether.

What If You Do Not Have Ether

If your wallet needs Ether, we recommend using a credit card. However, if you are intrested in pursuing bidding with Ether, you can do it following these steps:

Plan Ahead

Plan ahead. It will take 3-5 business days for your funds to clear

Head over to Coinbase

Head over to Coinbase and start the Sign Up Process.
A government-issued
photo ID (no passport cards) is required.

Buy Ether

Click on the buy/sell button located on the top right of your browser
Select payment method. We recommend using Bank Account ACH or Wire Transfer

Transfer Funds to Your Wallet

Copy your wallet address
Access your Coinbase account and click the Send/Receive button on the top right
Enter the amount you want to transfer and paste your wallet address in the “To” field

If You are Outbid

You will be notified and funds returned to you immediately.

Associated Fees

When placing a bid on the Ethereum network, there are transaction fees associated with your purchase. These gas fees vary in price due to network congestion.

Credit Card

As a crypto-native platform, all our credit card transactions are on chain. If you are the winner of the NFT, LiveArt supplies you with a temporary wallet address. You transfer your NFT from this wallet to your desired wallet at any point by clicking the “claim” on your NFT.
