About Niyi Okeowo

 
Niyi Okeowo is a multidisciplinary creative whose practice spans art direction, Graphic Design, 3D, animation, VR photography, and branding.
 
Niyi has almost a decade of experience as a creative specialist, working with international clients including Adobe, Empire, Universal Music Group, Chivas, Smirnoff, Uber, and LVMH.
 
Niyi’s work has been published in Okay Africa, Dazed Magazine, Fubiz, Print Mag, African Digital art, and The Guardian among others.
 
He is currently the Chief Design Officer at Thrill Digital, where he leads the branding and art direction team building the Astraverse, a first-of-its-kind Metaverse Experience, showcasing a new way to shop and play in virtual reality using your avatar and receive your outfits in real life. Previously, Niyi served as an art director & lead designer at Ashluxe in Lagos, Nigeria. Helping the brand grow into a streetwear and fashion powerhouse in Africa.

About Anthony Azekwoh

 
Anthony Azekwoh is a digital artist and author who lives and works in Lagos, Nigeria. Entirely self-taught, his distinctive art style creates captivating mystical worlds, breathing life into his characters.
 
His multidisciplinary approach to art is a testament to his endless yearning for self-expression. As an author, his writing is often myth-inspired, heavily imbibed with historical context. He has also worked as a voiceover artist as well as a project member on a creative magazine and a mental health app.
 
“In everything I do – writing, art or otherwise –I'm trying to tell a story as honestly as I can, I'm trying to tell the truth,” he explains. Anthony’s artwork has been seen by millions around the world; his writing, by thousands. He was the recipient of the Awele Trust Prize in 2017. He has written five books, the third published by Inkwell Publishing. He has also published a series with Nigerian literary magazine, Brittle Paper. He has worked with Show Dem Camp, Masego, Adekunle Gold, Blaqbonez and many more international clients. His artwork has been exhibited internationally, and has also been seen in Native Mag, Zikoko, Yahoo Finance, Culture Custodian, Techpoint Africa and Olongo Africa.
 
With sold-out NFT collections, he has set up the The Rosemary Fund, a grant that has supported over 10 Nigerian artists so far.

Durotimi Bolaji-Idowu “Duro-Arts” is an art director / Illustrator currently working out of Lagos Nigeria. His work has been an essential part of Nigerian pop Culture over the last decade. Duro-Arts’ portfolio includes a roster of clients including Atlantic Records, Sony music, UBA (United bank of Africa) and MTVbase. He has had features on platforms such as OkayAfrica, Culture Custodian and Zikoko.

Samuel Kobina Blankson is a professional artist who specializes in Fine Art and Digital Art focused on Expressionism. He paints to create expressions of what he thinks and communicates his experiences in life through art inspired by music and lifestyle. As a freelancer born and based in Ghana, he has worked for BlackCoffee, Fameye, David Biga, Kwabena Kwabena, La Meme gang, B for black boy book and other amazing artists. Samuel was part of a group exhibition with Artswap and Lokko house.

DarkMythst aka Kwame, is a Ghanaian born multi-dimensional artist residing in California, who creates in the themes of  Afro/African-futurism, cosmic and cyberpunk. He portrays his art in themes surrounding his sculpted character portraits and environment art. He fuses the art of cosmic and natural beauty, with the  Afro experience through fiction, mythology and heritage art from his personal perspective.
 
His career started as a graphic designer, but later expanded into roles as a visual effects artist, where he landed a job creating effects for films such as ‘The Avengers, GI Joe, Guardians of the Galaxy and a number of both Marvel/DC films. Later, he went on to be the creative director for a medical education company where he led and trained team members that created illustrations, animations and videos for medical content.
 
DarkMythst's art is story based, and connects to his social perspective of the world and what he's learned along the way, expressing it through the symbolism in his art. "The intention is to draw an audience to the characters and scenes, building stories through still images and animation" Darkmythst says.
 
Finally, DarkMythst is represented as a TIMEPieces artist and has had his works exhibited around the world. He is currently working on a unique art series to be revealed late 2022/2023
