NFTarot from the EFC Collection
The Ella Fontanals Cisneros Collection in collaboration with eDigital.ART creates digitally inspired versions of physical artworks that retain their original spirit and character.
All proceeds of this project will benefit the artists and art community through the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation (CIFO).
About this collection
Artworks from the Ella Fontanals-Cisneros Collection have been transformed in collaboration with eDigital.ART into collectible Tarot card NFTs starting with Gustavo Perez Monzon and Glenda León.
Monzón’s NFTs are based on three physical tarot deck artworks—The Point Tarot, The Norka Tarot, and The Angel Tarot. During the 1980s, Monzón became interested in ancient knowledge systems like numerology and tarot, which impacted his world view and artistic practice. Born in Cuba, Monzón pursued esoteric knowledge systems.
León’s practice frequently engages with digital and new media. eDigital.ART commissioned León to create new digital works for this initiative, minted as NFTs, which exemplify an alternate look at the esoteric based on León’s world view, and global perspective.
